Band to Join, Vocalist, Rhythm Guitar, Lead Guitar, Drums, Keyboard.

I'd like to join or assemble a band that plays Clapton, Allman Brothers, Tedeschi Trucks and other related music. That includes most electric blues, and sometimes R&B/Motown (Muscle Shoals, Capricorn and more).

I play bass at a pro level, but that's not how I earn my living. I play because I love to play.

I'm looking to play at least once a week with other musicians who play at a high level. I'd like us to take the music seriously, play it well, and improve from week to week. And have a lot of fun too.

I've been playing bass for more than 40 years. I don't care how old or young you are as long as you play well.

I don't care if we never gig out, but if the band wants to, I'll gladly do that. I'd like to do songs that we all like, and that aren't always aimed at a bar crowd.

I can get together to play most days of the week, including during the day.

I have one constraint on time: my Friday nights and Saturday days are already committed. I can play out on Saturday nights.

I sing backup and the occasional lead vocal, and double on guitar. I've sung bass in a choir that performed at the White House, Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center, with occasional solos.

I have pro bass and guitar equipment, a rehearsal space with drum kit/amps/keyboard/PA, and recording equipment.

I live in Teaneck - five minutes from the George Washington Bridge. I'm willing to travel up to half-an-hour, including into NYC. I've rehearsed in Astoria (Queens) and Montclair (NJ), and have gigged in Harlem, Park Slope and Coney Island.

You can see and hear me playing and singing on the Hellhound Saints, Tateo Blues Band and New Blue Rubies channels on You Tube. (Clip the link starting with "watch?v=" and paste into your You Tube search box,):
