Hey guys what's up, I'm Adam.
Currently, I've taken a step back from church ministry and taken to a more main stream feel for guitar. I am currently picking away at a Taylor 214, it's got a nice sound and I ran a set up on it to get as little intonation (string height) as possible for playing comfort.
Im not too much of a mainline vocalist, Ill tinker with backup vocals and have been known to hum to the songs I'm playing, but please dont ask me to lead anything.
As far as style goes, I'm more classical, if you can count it as that. My influences are Eric Clapton, John Mayer, and Lincoln Brewster to name a few. I prefer the finger picking method rather than actual strumming, I bought a Taylor for the sound of the wood, not for the sound of a pick.
Songs I'm messing with right now are The Heart of Life by John Mayer and Tears in Heaven by Eric Clapton.
I'm mostly looking for a acoustic crew to mess around with, if something serious comes from it, then let it be; but I'm really not in it for the splendor and glory, I just want a group that loves the sound of the music we play and can show love to the tones.
