Searching for musicians to put a band together. Mostly originals but, a few covers never hurt. Not looking for a drummer as the drummer is already a part of this. Looking for a lead singer, bass player, a second guitarist to switch lead and rhythm parts back and forth with and a keyboard player that hopefully can sing backup vocals. The drummer and I have been playing in and out of bands for about ten years. We've played a lot of shows and have recorded many songs in various studios. As for commitment, actually showing up for a scheduled practice would be nice. Our music is mostly rock, maybe some metal riffs once in a while and then some acoustic stuff too... melodic bridges and such. FOR THE LEAD SINGER SPOT, definitely looking for someone with strong vocals, good ideas and a nice range... you don't have to be Freddie Mercury but, not looking for a full time screamer either. A combination of singing and screaming isn't bad... something like Dave Grohl, Jared Leto would probably be the most screaming that I'm looking for, for this project. Not looking to classify or fit into a certain genre, just looking to write some creative music in good taste that feels good and engaging when playing shows.
