I am singer-songwriter and poet, decide to join a band or start a new one with my friend.She is a vocalist and violinist, so this sounds like that could possibly be a multi-vocalist band? Too earlier to say anything yet...
I am very open minded when comes to music, so it could be a fusion of genres, instrumental music on the lines of Sigur Ros, or any Ambient rock, or a blend btw folk-Rock-Alternative ..
I don't think it would progress into Metal/hardrock vocally speaking...
I have couple gigs under way.I am tired of creating music by myself, I want to share experiences with others and perform alive...
we start locally, build a repertory and move on to the next stage...
Succes for me is to be proud of the music that you created, so keep that in mind.But making ton of money out of music, should not be a bad thing at all...I would like to focus on live performance first..Start playing on festivals around Seattle area and move on....Currently havre a full time job and so had the other bandmate so we have to be patience with transitioning ( these are things to think down the line).
