I've played for a few decades.. fingerstyle bassist.. while I still have things to learn (because I am open to learning, not due to lack of experience), I know loads of songs and have plenty of stage experience.. I have club connections around St. Louis and St. Charles. I am looking for an existing band that plays "hits.." that practices regularly, and can comprehend this simple point: PLAY WHAT PEOPLE WANT TO HEAR... that means "Jesse's Girl" from Rick Springfield (lol, true, though). I am not a guitarist playing bass.. I am a BASS player that plays bass. My influences include Rush, U2, Police, Cure, Van Halen, AC DC, Rage, you name the band.. but I prefer to play clubs with dance songs.. Flock of Seagulls, Pink, dance songs. Why this simple point gets lost on so many bands is beyond me. I am in an existing band that does not play out enough.. wanting to either leave the band for something bigger, better, or to supplement my existing situation. Great gear, great attitude.. I want to play out as much as possible, preferrably weekends. Limited vocals, but I practice all the time and am extremely dependable.. I know loads and loads of songs also. I am looking for the right group of people with the right personalities in and outside the band. Currently playing out several times monthly, and I do much of the booking.
