Hi there,

I'm 22 and I just recently moved to the Los Angeles area. I am very interested in getting involved in music, but I have no professional vocal training (I would like to but I just don't have the money) but I've played the piano since I was 6 years old and I have dabbled with the guitar and songwriting as well. I think I would be extremely marketable as an edgy, yet soulful, pop vocalist. I think I have a unique-sounding voice and I am pretty adaptable to different styles but I guess I would describe my voice as a bit of an eclectic rock/soul vibe. I would say I'm probably most influenced vocally by artists like Lana Del Ray, Sia, and Amy Winehouse, but I love all kinds of music and some of my favorite artists are Led Zeppelin, Coldplay Johnny Cash, Rihanna, and the Rolling Stones. Here's a link to some songs that I recorded on my smartphone via the "Sing!" App. I apologize for the feedback in some of them, unfortunately I don't really have the means of recording a song professionally right now. I have other songs recorded on my "Sing!" App account if you'd like to hear them but please note that I do a lot of them just for fun and they really don't always reflect my voice or personal style accurately, and many of them are duets with other people so it's not always just me. However, these links are just me singing solo:

"Cough Syrup" by Young the Giant

"Radioactive" by Imagine Dragons

"Yellow" by Coldplay

"Valerie" by Amy Winehouse

Just wanted to give you an idea of what I sound like, by no means are those recordings perfect but I think you'll be able to tell if you are interested with the samples I sent, and I also know with even just some minimal professional coaching I could really develop my voice a lot more.

Love to hear more details about who you are and what you do. I know I don't have professional vocal experience, but I'm extremely smart, creative, hard-working, and I learn quickly. Hope to hear from you!
