The songs range from being in the style of classic rock to a sort of modern pop sound, but sprinkled with some tasty or “sophisticated” jazz harmony/chords.
It’s important for that to be not too obvious, so that the music is digestible for the everyday listener, as well as someone with a trained ear to enjoy.
Think a modern day Steely Dan, or ToTo.
