Our Mission in Summary-
¤ To Enhance the quality of life for female youth in the United States and Globally through participation in alternative sports.
¤ To Inspire Professional athletes to give back to their communities.
¤Our Goal is to provide youth around the world with the positive outlet of alternative sports.
The Poseiden Fund is dedicated to the expansion of female participation in sport across the globe. Our unique approach begins with bringing awareness of opportunities that are available for the less fortunate athletes in developing countries and in the United States. This is achieved through participation in Tour Events and Clinics hosted by The Poseiden Fund as well as the distribution of equipment and gear donated by our supporters.
Our goal is to raise the level of awareness of athletes within communities and help communities understand the benefits of having an active lifestyle through an alternative sport. The Poseiden Fund encourages the creation of positive outlets for their youth and gives opportunities for males and females to participate and travel to different clinic and competition locations through scholarships that are funded through donations only.
All of our events are multi-faceted and involve many different activities including mini-contest, female skate clinics and crowd participation. We make our events as interactive as possible by separating the female’s abilities into groups and having no more than 8 females to each instructor, mini-contest are open contest this way anyone is able to participate and skate demonstrations which consist of both local and international athletes. At each event, Poseiden creates an atmosphere of education and activity to bring a real interactive experience to the youth that attend our events.
In addition to our in-house athletes, local athletes who reside in the visiting location also have the opportunity to give back to their community by helping with our events/clinics.
Poseiden always keeps their doors open to those locals who wish to participate in our various clinic activities.
