I am a 23 year old woman that has been playing guitar since 4th grade and singing since I can remember. I took guitar lessons for years and played in a (not so great) girls band in middle school/early high school with a few small, local gigs. In this band I also dabbled with ukulele and bass guitar. I have also participated in a few talent competitions at local fairs. Most recently, I played acoustic electric guitar for a special requested song at a wedding. I am not an advanced guitar player in the slightest, but I am familiarized and comfortable strumming many chords and occasionally learn a riff or picking pattern. Currently, I take up gigs as personal favors or just learn songs for fun. I have been looking to join a band and would love to be more serious about music and gigs. I hope my slight lack of guitar skills aren't too much of a hinderance.
