I have been letting my musical equipment gather dust for too long. It's time I got back out and started performing in front of audiences again. I am a composer as well as a performer, but I generally need help writing lyrics.

Influences
I prefer metal bands that have classical influences like Rhapsody (of Fire), Epica, and Avantasia but do like the really heavy stuff from time to time. I have been recently enjoying metal with folk elements such as Korpiklaani and Ensiferum.

Griffen riders (working title)
Griffen riders (working title) Genre: Metal
This is a rough mix of a new song. I played all the parts using a midi keyboard. For the guitars, I only did one track except in the opening to do both rhythm and lead guitars. The lead covers the vocal melody. I am not using top notch equipment. (Laptop, Cubase LE, midi keyboard, and NI Komplete 8). There are random cutoffs that are not present in the Cubase playback. It's best just to use pc speakers and a little imagination for this one.
