I am looking for groups/individuals to perform a daytime gig at the Lighthouse Adult Day Center. It would need to be done gratis (free).
We have people from ages 25 to 85, most are there as a result of a stroke, accident, some birth defect, (Spina Bifida, Cerebral Palsy, etc.), MS and a few are MR. They are mostly high functioning adults that enjoy attention and talent that others can bring to their enjoyment.
This would be a weekday at 11 AM, dates are negotiable.
I am looking for various performers to perform each month. I know many of you work; however, many employers are very gracious when it comes to community service such as this. And if you have been court ordered to do community service, this would qualify.
The type of music preferred would be old classic, country, old pop, bluegrass, jazz, folk or gospel. Any or all of these.
I also need someone that has a portable keyboard for a gospel sing-along in April.
