Influences
I got my start in the University Of Charleston Children's chorus, the only professional children's choir in West Virginia, after being recruited for the first class of young people by the founder and conductor Selina Midkiff in the 3rd grade(about 8 years old). Selina refined my vocals and taught me music theory, how to read music, and how to harmonize effortlessly over the many years I was a part of
The UCCC(later changed to ACC[Appalachian children's chorus]). I started writing my own songs when I was about 13, and only recently discovered BandLab, to be able to record my music.
