I enjoy most types of music. My very favorite is blues. I have sang country, blues, oldies covers (1920's to present). I live in a independent senior building, and before the covid 19 situation I sang in our band. I also went weekly to 2 other senior buildings to sing with their bands. On Tuesdays, I went to a venue that played bluegrass and some country. As a child I started singing with my family at get togethers around the piano. Then, I began singing in church. Soloing, duets, multi-person groups and the choir. After graduating from high school I sang locally with another girl, doing cover, mostly con, untry. A little later I would go out and set in and sing with other bands. I rehearsed with another band that played a lot of Heart songs. Sadly, the lady I was to replace had a baby and was not going to continue with the band. After practicing with them for a month, it turned out that she had changed her mind and was rejoining the band.

EQUIPMENT
Small percussion instruments, microphone, microphone stand, short music stand. I also have an acoustic guitar and medium size keyboard with stand. I am trying to teach myself these.
