ABOUT

I'm a female bass player with 35 years of experience. I have a high energy eccentric personality and my level of committment is seriously focused and I have a flexible schedule. I'm looking for a workin band that plays cover dance or tribute music but is open to adding my original compositions that I write. Would love to collaborate with other composers for studio work. I am also an accomplished singer with a tenor range, I have an amazing ear for harmonies and I can also sing lead but prefer not to. I have an ability to learn songs at lightning speed, it's not a joke. So I could probably jump into a band and be gig ready in about 30 days maybe less depending on the song list. I play a slap and pop style bass technique that you often see in funk bass players but with a Rock flare. My main bassist influence is Flea from Red Hot Chili Peppers and I studied his teqnique for years.

I am not a joke, or a flake, or a druggie and I want to work and not play. I take being a musician as a serious career and I am not interested in jamming. If you are an established working band we should talk.
