I have begun singing with local bands since 2010. Individually as well as background.
I play percussion instruments, block, claves, tambourines and all sorts of shakers, I have 2 cajons but the group I was using then in, fell apart. Therefore I don't use them now. . I am very interactive with the audience. Like their participation. Clapping. Singing along, dancing, interaction is important.

Influences
Mostly from my friends that I jam with. And concerts I've been to many.. I've sung with some famous and many working their way up. Music pleases me and makes me happy. I sing music from back in the 50 - 80... not so much current music although a few. Not against expanding horizons...... but the are handful of bands I like their music, and sing their songs. Zac Brown, Little Big Town, Chris Stapleton, Jeriamiah Johnson, etc.

EQUIPMENT
Shakers misc. Shapes & sizes, for tone variation, rocks, marbles, claves. Block, tambourine, bongo, conga.... actually anything can be an instrument. I have a good sense of rhythm. I'm told I keep the beat very well, I'm on spot.
