I am looking for someone to sing some female (or other) vocalist covers with (i.e. Anna Nalick, Tori Amos, Sarah McLachlan, Lisa Loeb, Chantal Kreviazuk, etc...). My goal in doing this is to see if I even have the talent it takes to begin a band. I'm a beginner and don't have any vocal training. However, I can carry a tune and think with practice, I might be able to fullfill a dream of mine to be on stage one day... even if it's in a smoky dive bar. I do have classical violin training so am somewhat familiar with musical terms and such. However, singing is new to me beyond karaoke... but I do well at that so might as well give it a shot.
If there's anyone out there who is willing (and has some patience with a newbie) to just have fun singing some tunes with piano, guitar, etc..., please contact me. This would definitely be a new, interesting, and fun challenge for me... I just want to be able to express myself through music.
