Influences
I have been taking lessons with two teachers. One Berkley trained one a long time self taught Rock & Roll drummer. These two different approaches have given me a great base. For the last year I have been attending two-three jams a week and have gone from playing one song to full sets. The jam design, always with different musicians , mostly strangers , not knowing what I will play, has been both challenging and rewarding, but this experience has developed my confidence and deepened my desire to drum. I am a 70's rocker , period, but I love any and all music that needs a drummer to help drive the beat.
