ABOUT
We are a five piece ensemble playing a Philly - style blues-forward foundation, spiced up with a lot of New Orleans’ Frenchman Street-style and a hint of Latin beat. So, in addition to a lot of classic blues, expect to hear material from Little Feat, Neville Bros, Sonny Landreth, Dr. John, and others, including a Latin-style version of the ‘60s Animals’ classic House of the Rising Sun (another historic NOLA reference). So, we cover tunes, but do it our way. Yes, this stuff is fun for us to play, and, if you still breathe involuntarily and have a palpable heartbeat, entertaining for you to listen to.
And to stress the point that Little Monkeys is not just another cover band, we've uploaded a host of originals, which has been published on CD under the title “Los Monitos”
