ABOUT

Looking for someone to work on my hundreds of sad songs with

I'm planning to move to Seattle from Europe soon, but as you know the world is kinda stuck now, so there's a lot of wait time. I'm tired of waiting for being "in the right place at the right time" to start making something cool though, so I thought I'd try looking for people now, because why not?

I'm just really, really tired of making music by myself. I feel like something is missing, every time I try to record and mix my songs, I think about how much better they could be if I had someone to exchange ideas with, someone who knows some specific areas of music production better than me so that we all could do what we do best. I want all that human connection stuff!

I play guitar and sing. Not like perfectly. But enough for the kind of thing I’m going for. I have so many different musical influences that I think I’m having a hard time putting my countless demos together into something coherent.

How to listen to my stuff:
- I’ve got two simple bedroom songs uploaded on Spotify under Living Drafts (that’s all I could handle myself lol) with videos on be, but they don’t really give you the full image
- If you want to hear the whole weird mix of indie, slowcore and metal - hit me up and I’ll send it to you!

Ok, that's it!

Influences

I think Carissa’s Wierd, mewithoutYou and City and Colour are the most beautiful things in the world. In 2019 I flew all the way from Europe to see Carissa’s Wierd “Ugly but Honest” reunion show (just to give you an idea)
Also, mewithoutYou has the sickest merch ever. My whole style is basically their T-shirts.

Low and Slint are my autumn soundtrack. I can’t listen to them too much though, staring at one spot all day long is highly unproductive.

I love The Cure and all sorts of post-punk too. Listening to it is like constantly being young and sad, and that’s kinda my whole vibe.

I love Thrice. I love O’Brother. I love Deftones. They rock.

I love Jeff Buckley. But I obviously can’t sing like him lol.

I spent my teens listening to post-grunge, so my Seether and Three Days Grace influences are not going anywhere even if I try. I’m always subconsciously ready to shout their lyrics.

I love non-weird indie too. Like the one people actually listen to. But it’s not something I want to play all the time, I don’t want people to think my music is not sad, I’m not a clown or something????
