ABOUT
I'm currently a member of the Copy Katz (Canadian Lakes Area), performing lead and background vocals, along with light percussion (congas, tambourine, etc.). We do a wide range from the 60's to the 80's.
On a personal level, I love the 80's 'hair' bands, but I also gravitate towards any female artist within my vocal range and can do a pretty decent job with covers.
If it rocks, if its loud, if it growls and screams I'm down with it! (still learning to scream). And if its mellow, jazzy, R&B, or hip-hop / pop I'm down with that too. :)
I can do country (Judds, Carrie Underwood, Shania, etc.) but honestly not as interested in it.
I love a challenging vocal! Not interested in 'cookie-cutter,' auto-tuning, repetitious monotones.
