I would like to get a dual purpose band together. I would like to do Christian Rock Metal like Skillet and Thousand Foot Krutch, and play at Christian venues, and do secular songs from my favorite bands, and ones my new band mates pick as well, to do private party gigs and some venues to earn some money.
The Christian band thing is really important to me, and I would like to find members who feel as strongly about the purpose of the band as I , but are okay with doing secular music in many types of venues.
Please no flakes, no drugs or drama.
Also I have run into this so much it amazes me...please know that the songs I would like to do are the songs that I expect to do, so if you do not want to do them, please don't reply. I have had so many people say yeah, let;s do a band and then a few days or weeks later, veto every song i said from the very beginning that I wanted to do.
I have done over 100 solo gigs at restaurants and private parties and small bars, but never with a band, so if you are ready to play out in one week, i am not the person you are looking for, however, I want to do gigs, and duos..me with one or two other people for acoustic shows and dinner houses for income, and if you never want to do a gig, I am not the one to contact.

Halestorm, Skillet, Thousand foot Krutch, Heart, Judas Priest, Scorpions, Petra (Heavier stuff), Led Zepplin, Fireflight, L.A. Guns Some songs, etc.
i have some pop infuences too, but would like to keep this no more mellow than Heart and a few of my classic rock favs such as Just what I needed for the private gig thing.
