I've actually played since "79 but never seriously wanted to perform until now. Currently I'm playing bass in a Blues/Rock band. We perform at a few open mic gigs and house parties here and there and practice 3 times a week. I might be interested in joining a second band if they lean more toward Rock or country than blues.

I'm certainly not a professional yet but I have skills and knowledge that make me well rounded and valuable. I can read and score music on a computer for original work and I have solid practice methods. My audition recording is currently digital that I wrote on the computer. I have plenty of performance equipment and a decent home recording setup.

I prefer to work with people who are not genre snobs who are stuck in a 1-type music mindset. That takes the fun out of it. I have no expectations of fame and fortune so I can't be disappointed but I do insist on having fun!
