Leo Lopa and the Zentones

Vocalist, Bass Guitar, Keyboard.

Leo Lopa and the Zentones have our own sound and style. We do not fall into any one category. If we did fall into one category, it would be Rock. But we have prominent Latin, Blues, and Classic/Southern Rock influences. We play some faster-paced country as well. We are very energetic, and we have solid originals finished, and in progress. We play covers, but strive to increase originals over time. LLZ had been playing for several years under another name, and we renamed the band after some re-shuffling. We are currently recording, but for live shows and further recording, we are short on committed members. The members gained performing experience in Athens, GA, Greenville, and Atlanta. We are in search for reliable and experience musicians.

Members Of Band

Erich - Drums, Rick - Lead, Rhythm guitars, vocals, and bass guitar (recording), until a permanent bassist joins the group. For more details, see our other website at https://leolopaandthezentones.com
And for more information on the bassist spot, call 864-350-6997. We are looking for a skilled and dedicated bassist, and one with a good lead and harmonizing voice is a major plus. We are on the move, have some good originals, and solid on 50+ covers. Want to contribute your musical influence? Now's the time!

Erich has a killer Gretch Drumset and a nice Behringer processor that pulls him in to our audio interface. The Behringer FA1616 is our audio interface, and the DAW is Presonus Studio One. Shure SM57s and SM58s all around, Rick on the Fender Precision Bass, Music Man 5-string. The other Rick is a Strat slinger, and has a couple of Gibsons, a sweet PRS original Ten Top, Fender Evil Twin, '64 Deluxe Reverb, and Marshall JVM stack - Taylor acoustics and occasionally pulls out the old Martin 000-28C classical. Yamaha Power Mixer and mains.
