We are a 5 piece working cover band. We play about 2-3 times a month at venues in the Lehigh Valley to central New Jersey and practice on the off weeks. We are all experienced players who have been gigging together for over a year, gaining popularity and booked at some great bars and venues. We are a PARTY ROCK band. We play a good variety of dance rock (i.e. Bruno Mars, current top 40), modern rock (i.e. Blink 182, Killers), a little classic (i.e.Van Halen, Billy Idol) and hard rock (i.e. Seether, ACDC), as well as some standards that every cover band should know (i.e. Funky Music, etc.) and we even throw in some rap and medleys. Whatever gets people (i.e. girls) moving and having fun we will play! It's a really good variety of upbeat fun music. We put on a high energy show, have fun and make every gig a party! We have been getting great feedback from bar owners and getting rebooked.
No drugs, egos, flakes, stress, or difficult personalities. We are family guys average age 30s who do this for FUN although we do get paid. We have a nice practice place near Coopersburg (Center Valley, PA). You must keep most Fridays and Saturdays open for gigs and be available to practice one night a week, usually Sunday or Monday, as we are always adding new songs. Must be fully dedicated to our band and not be in another working band.
You should be solid lead player with a nice look and friendly energetic personality who plays well with others and can help us draw a crowd. You should have experience playing the average cover band's set list. Must help the band promote because that is what gets us gets us the good gigs. Vocals a plus. You don't have to shred, but if you do we will definitely let you show it off!
Our next show is mid February. We have a fill in guy but if we find the right person he can play some or all of that show. We have shows booked throughout 2016 and adding more. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to be part of a successful cover band gigging right away.
