We play "grunge/powerpop/indie-rock," sort of, and the main influences to our sound include: Nirvana, Led Zeppelin, Radiohead, The Beatles, Elliott Smith, Tool, NIN, and many many more.

most of the material is played electric.

We are currently looking for some one to carry the BASS load, as well as some one with their own good songwriting ideas/material to compliment our own.

A good idea of how bass movements allow a song to progress -- knowledge of chord inversions and their effects -- and an interest in "counter-point," are all HUGE PLUSSES, but not required by any means.

We are also open to a lead guitar influence if it is the right fit. Basically we need some one who can expand upon the melodic gestures imbedded within the chord-structure itself of the songs, without trying to do too much or radically overpowering the songs. Think Beatles, or Elliott SMith, or RADIOHEAD - that is what we are looking for - lead guitar that can help to perfect the SONG by supplying melodic ideas that fit, and are present intuitively.

Back-up vocals and good songwriting ideas are both HUGE plusses at either position.

We are on the verge of very good things, so; if you are a creative force - who can play the bass pretty well, or who can help to embellish a song with lead - who likes most of the same bands as us, and is dedicated to making it out of this town (or any town), then please hit us up.

We are all 21-23 as of February 2008, but we can take as low as 18 to as high as 26.

We have a boat-load of original material, and look forward to new ideas for songs as well.

We love good music - music that moves you, music that is powerful - so we have VERY diverse influences. But If you had to say who we SOUND the most like (Which I hate doing) It would probably be: Nirvana, Radiohead, Elliott Smith, Smashing Pumpkins, The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Silverchair, kinda, ... somewhere in the midst of all that might be a good description.
