I am a 40 year old highly experienced drummer living in the Hammond, Louisiana area. I currently play for a band that gigs once a month and I am wanting to play more often by joining another band. Most of my experience is with playing party music (ex. songs from the 80's and current pop hits). My ideal band would play mostly weddings, private events, festivals, and restaurants. Sorry, I have no interest in 10pm till 2am bar gigs. I would prefer a band that is already established and is simply looking for a replacement or fill-in substitute drummer. I have over 20 years of experience as a live performer playing in cover bands. I have a degree in music education from Southeastern Louisiana University and work during the day as a middle school band director. I am highly experienced playing along with click tracks and pre-recorded sequences. I am available on weeknights and weekends for practicing and gigs.
