Very experienced with analog synthesizers, programming analog drum machines and sequencers, self taught pianist with 25+ years of playing and making up stuff. I am not professionally trained by any means and I did not go to any fancy music schools,but I have many years of experience playing in different styles, experimenting with sound design, sound synthesis, sampling, composition, and live performance.
I tend to write a lot of different types of music, but do not specialize particularly in any one area. I definitely would like to experiment with other non-conventional musicians and multi instrumentalists that don't have any particular sound in mind other than to create our own.

Influences
A lot of world music and easy listening/new age music made up a chunk of my childhood, with artists like Enya, Enigma, Deep Forest, and early rave or trance/dance music from the 90s such as The Prodigy, Paul Oakenfold, Mr. Oizo, Fatboy Slim dominating my first decade. My dad had a thing for traditional Irish music from his home country and would play lots of old vhs tapes of riverdance and celtic groups I couldn't even possibly name today. I would say that nowadays I am heavily influenced by a large number of various artists spanning a ridiculous spectrum of genres, but here are a few:
Enya, Aphex Twin, Mouse on Mars, The Go! Team, Yip Yip, King Crimson, Sleepytime Gorilla Museum, The Residents, Daft Punk, The Knife, J Dilla, Aesop Rock, Frank Zappa, Raymond Scott, Bruce Haack, Herbie Hancock, Thomas Dolby, Amon Tobin, Vulfpeck, Sesame Street/Jim Henson, Mr. Rogers, to name a couple.
