ABOUT

I really don't know where I am as a vocalist. I've never recorded or anything and i just get mixed impressions about my voice. Don't really know if anyone is gonna see this but hey, if you do and you decide to give me a chance, cool. I got nothing to lose. Contact me at chris_mosher at y mail dot com. kinda like g mail but the letter y instead of g. Check out this link to hear my singing. I still regularly sing here. .smule/lostcrowe I would start with the favorites

Influences

In order of generally stronger, to slightly weaker influences (they're all almost equal)

Disturbed ------------ (My very first inspiration, I always loved David Draiman's voice ever since i heard Down with the Sickness. I love the crazy sounds he makes, he almost sounds like a lion with some of his growls and roars. I've been trying to emulate those sounds since i first heard them ( awah ah ah ah! lol) I can never nail them, and i dunno if ever will. But i'm fine with that, cause we all have our own voice, our own sound, and that's his. No one can ever copy it)
Linkin Park------------- (Chester's voice is just perfect, you can feel every emotion in his words, whether he's trying to convey a sad or lonely feeling (Iridescent, Shadow of the Day) or frustration - (In The End).)
Thousand Foot Krutch -------------- (I always admired how versitile Trevor can be with his voice, so deep and soft in one song, and then in another completely different, a complete turn around to just plain hardcore.)
System of a Down ------------- (And all of Serj Tankian's solo work. His voice is awesome)
Three Days Grace ------------- (with Adam Gontier as lead singer)
Puddle of Mudd ------------- (I LOVE the accent the singer has, i even try to copy it XD (F'ing Love Psycho))
Three Doors Down ------------
Bullet for my Valentine ------------ (I love the screaming, I try to practise using them myself. I'll never be able to match their epic sounds though)
Avenged Sevenfold ----------- (M. Shadows is amazing)
Eminem --------- (Yes, i do like to rap every now and then, but only when i really like the lyrics and i can feel the emotion. I hate bland rap like the sh*t their spewing out 99% of the time today.)
The Killers ----------
Breaking Benjamin ------------
Nickleback --------------
Red ----------- (Just like TFK, i LOVE how the singer can go from a perfectly smooth, soothing voice (Pieces) to an amazing shouting voice (Release the Panic) Elements i love trying to emulate.)
Creed ----------
Godsmack ------------
Tanooki Suit ------------- ( New band i found on you tube, love the singers voice, has similarities to Red. I played a lot of Dark Souls (over 400 hours) so i love their song Lordvessel)

Of course There are more, like Bon Jovi, and Journey, but honestly i got into the older stuff a little late in life, so i have less influence directly from them
