SEEKING

Band to Join.

ABOUT

I moved to North Augusta recently and I would like to find a group that is actively playing. I have played with different bands for ~15 years, but I was moving around a lot and I have been without a band for the last 2 years. I am a permanent resident of North Augusta and ready to get back to playing again. I enjoy playing a wide range of music, and I’m not afraid to try something new. I don’t have a desire to make a living with music. I have a career, and I do music because I love to be on stage and entertain people. I am looking to join a group of experienced musicians. I’m not interested in working with a band that gets on stage and discusses what song to do next. I expect to have a set list and zero dead time between songs. When a songs lands, there should be some kind of transition into the next song. Pad… chord that is hanging from the end of the last song…. Drum beat to cover for a guitar change……. I believe that you rehearse like it is a live show. If you are going to introduce the band, you practice exactly how and when you are going to do it….and it is done while the band is maintaining some kind of breakdown. Not in silence.

I hate to sound crazy but I have been around enough to know that different people want different things from music. Some people want to have fun, “wing it” and see what happens. I want to sound great and look professional when I go stage or I’m not interested. Things happen, but if you don’t aim high, you will always hit low.
