Looking to start or join a band, hard/classic rock, progressive, classic metal, whatever you want call it. Some covers, done our way, to get thing rolling and writing some some originals. I've been out of the music "scene" for a few years but want to get back in and get something going for summer.

Influences
Players like EVH, Vai, Lynch, Nuno, Page, Jimi, the usual suspects from my era, and some outliers like Billy Duffy, Dave Navarro, and ??? too many to name.
Bands like VH, The Cult, Extreme, Zep, Jane';s Addiction, Bowie, Pink Floyd, to Judas Priest, Queensryche, you get the picture. I haven't played much nu-er stuff, but listen to bands that are heavey and groove like Korn, Ra, Distrubed a lot too.

EQUIPMENT
Ibanez 6 and 7 string guitars and bass, Gibson, Schecter, Seagull, Ovation, Boss, Marshall, plenty of pro gear to play out. I also have a recording mixer and DAW software, PA speaker/monitors, a Roland e-kit, and enough stuff to have a practice. Unfortunately I don't have a practice space where we can get loud, we can do small practices and record demos in my house with e-drums and small amps, headphones.
