Am I a bassist with experience in Latin rhythms to include bossa nova, latin jazz and particularly Salsa (Afro-Cuban/NYC Salsa). I have had some experience performing with acoustic rock bands and even some Bluegrass many years ago.

I am currently available nights and most weekends. Although I am not a proficient sight-reader, I am able to follow most lead sheet with ease.

My influences include the music from a myriad of musicians and bands, such as Tito Puente, all FANIA artists, Oscar de Leon, Mongo Santamaria and Poncho Sanchez. I also enjoy music from Carlos Antonio Jobim and Joao Gilberto, and Sergio Mendez.

EQUIPMENT

My main gear consists of upright Ampeg Baby Bass, Fender Bass Guitars, as well as acoustic upright & bass guitar. I have professional bass gear, and reliable transportation.
