I've been doing the solo singer/songwriter acoustic thing for a time now, I enjoy it but have always wanted to get into something more avant-garde. Morcheeba and Portishead, have a cool vibe that I'm dabbling with right now, but I'd still like to go somewhere more hardcore,edgy, and strange.
