I am a classically trained flutist with a Bachelor from Peabody Conservatory. I play all the flutes from alto flute, to C flute to piccolo, as well as a wooden loon caller. I often incorporate vocalizations into my playing I have performed in band/chamber group settings across the United States. I am a regular sub for the Broadway Musical Wicked. I am also co-director of a flute/violin experimental duo called The Witches, and am sidewoman in the contemporary jazz quintet Atlantic Extraction. I am comfortable memorizing all my music, even highly complex parts. I play with a DPA mic setup or acoustic depending on the setting. My genres include classical, contemporary classical, free improvisation, contemporary jazz, some hip/hop experience. I am open to many different styles and love collaborating. I am interested in playing the flute in unusual settings, and doing so with the utmost musicianship and commitment.
