I'm moving to Atlantai in July and am interested in forming a duo as soon as possible. I'm willing to consider joining with someone that has little experience, or to try and play with people who have considerable experience. I'm very committed, available to rehearse or gig almost anytime, and am seeking other committed musicians/bands regardless of experience.

Though I've been playing guitar for over 20 years, I've never been in a band. In fact, I've only jammed with other musicians a handful of times in my life. I practice a whole hell of a lot, though.

- I learn quickly and, depending on the material, can be rehearsal-ready pretty fast. If you ask me to learn an Yngwie song in two days, I'm not going to be able to handle it. However, you might ask me to learn 4 random pop/rock songs in a week and I'd be fine.

Ego - Easily checked at the door.

Attitude - A really good one with no ego issues. I'm an easy-going guy who can go with the flow. I'm just as comfortable following the lead of others as I am being assertive when necessary, but I'm never 'bossy'. For younger musicians who may be concerned about my age, let me reassure you that I'm not trying to be anyone's parent or guardian...I just want to play!

I'm not a drug user, but I don't object to whatever anyone else does as long as they can control themselves. I'm not much of a drinker, though I'm not a friend of Bill's or anything like that. I don't have a problem others drinking as long as it doesn't interfere with MY life.

I have my act together and I do what I say I'm going to do, when I say I'm going to do it. I'm not late for anything...ever. I'm low drama and don't really have an interest in getting into high drama situations. I approach everything as a professional.

Confidence - Yeah, well....since I have so little experience playing with others, I have to say that the idea of joining a band is a little intimidating (maybe more than a little).I know that once it happens for me, though, I'll be fine. I adapt to new things quickly.

If you have any interest in communicating further, please let me know. If you'd like me to upload a demo video of me playing, shoot me a list of four or five songs that interest you. I'll learn at least one of them and upload the demo.

After reading this, if you decide that I'm not a fit with what you have in mind, feel free to pass my name on to others that may be in a position similar to mine.

If I've left anything out, let me know and I'll fill in the blanks.

I'd like to get started before I arrive in Atlanta, if possible. I'm interested in playing as much as possible: Anywhere, everywhere... We'll figure it out and make some good music together (and some money).

Guitars - I have a LP, an SG, a Strat, and a Martin acoustic

Effects - Since I've always been a bedroom guitarist, I've made due with modelers/multi-effects devices. I can buy whatever is required - I just haven't had the need yet. I have owned some sweet amps in the past and can dial in decent tone.

Applications - I use both Reaper and Sonar with various plug-ins.
