Bengaluru?s three year old LOW RHYDERZ are here to broaden the musical landscape with
their commitment to the upliftment of urban music ??? - ROLLING STONE MAGAZINE ?09.
On stage, LOW RHYDERZ is a band made up of four home bred MCs. On papers,
LOW RHYDERZ is a brand founded by four partners. They exist solely to get the whole world
grinding, vibing, jiving and forgetting each other?s differences which leads to great by-products
namely HAPPINESS and PEACE. Their music testifies to their aims which is unusual and big,
Cos they know that to have aim small is a crime in today?s world.
Initially, it was hard work for them to get people listen to their music. They were an unknown
band making unfamiliar music in the sub-continent. But over time, converting the first time
hesitant listener into an instant fan became cake-walk.
Band LOW RHYDERZ is the driving force of Brand LOW RHYDERZ. Versatility and style is the
key to all the music they make and the business they do. However, Urban (Hip hop , Rap and
Reggae) music will always be their basic thing and they say, ? Our lives relate to it automatically,
naturally, lyrically, metaphorically and emotionally ?.
LOW RHYDERZ ?ve recorded and performed with country?s leading Djs, Musicians & artists
from France, Cameroon, Tanzania, Iran and Oman .
LOW RHYDERZ headlined FREEDOM JAM ( Pondicherry ) this year Jan ?11 and in Jan of ?10
. After first day?s high energy show in 2010 for over 6000 people, they were the only Band that was
called to play on the second day of fest on demand.
? In Feb ?10 it was Fireflies Music festival in Bangalore.
? LOW RHYDERZ opened the act for Legendary LUCKY ALI in Chennai to an audience of over
5000 people in June ?10.
? July of 2010 saw LOW RHYDERZ open the act again for LUCKY ALI in Bangalore for Indian
Air Force which had over 8000 people.
? Thus began the tour with LUCKY and have rocked massive crowds of 4000, 14000 and 18000
people n places like Hyderabad, Patiala and Halfong, Assam last year.
? LOW RHYDERZ open the act again for LUCKY ALI in Bangalore for the 250th year of the
INDIAN ARMY on December 9th, 2010.
LOW RHYDERZ open the act again for LUCKY ALI in GUWAHATI, ASSAM, March 2011.
Other notable previous performances include The National Equestrian and Horse Ridding
Championship ( Pondicherry ), India Men?s Fashion Fair ( Bangalore ), Tata Tea?s ?Jago Re?
campaign at Wipro Campus ( Bangalore ), Colour nites by Bangalore Times ( Bangalore ), Sunday
Jams in Bangalore and in all prominent night clubs across South Indian States. Most latest was
opening the act for DJ JAM ( Snoop Dogg?s and Dr. Dre?s DJ ).
RAVE magazine wrote about LOW RHYDERZ after witnessing them live in 2007. Their work was
also acknowledged by a leading daily tabloid called the ?Deccan Chronicle?. Two of their music
videos drew attention when they were aired by India?s leading English news channel ?CNN IBN?
in 2007 and 2009 respectively. The first video and soundtrack depicted the evolution of 60 years
of Indian independence. The second one was a politically aggressive message to the youth specially,
which was part of the CNN IBN?s ?ROCK THE VOTE? campaign during the Great Indian
General Elections. LOW RHYDERZ were featured on NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC website
earlier last year. One can also get them to rock events as a DJ-MC combo for dance parties !
