I've played in quite a few bands over the years, original (Somnia, Bent Trees), cover (MixTape), tribute (Local Distortion). Original projects I'm in are not playing right now, so I'm putting together a cover band to play out and have some fun. Currently I have drums, bass, and two guitarists covered. We're looking for a vocalist (male and/or female). If you happen to also play keyboards, that would be a plus. Hit me up if you're interested. More details in the Influences section. Influences
This cover band will focus mainly on danceable 80's "classic" rock, but will also include some newer stuff as well. Some examples would be Tom Petty, Black Crowes, Bowie, Billy Idol, to newer stuff like Lenny Kravitz, The Black Keys, etc. Our only requirement is it has to be danceable. What we are not doing: typical 90's alternative/grunge, typical StL cover band pop staples.

EQUIPMENT
We will be using in-ear monitors and tracks for some elements of certain songs (like custom sound effects, organ, harmonica, keys (if we end up with no key player, etc.).
Looking to book about one gig a month at start.
We are four guys in our 40's with non-music careers and families, but we all have years of experience playing music; looking for a like-minded person willing to show up, learn the songs, and most importantly have fun!
