Relocated back to the U.S. a few years ago and interested in joining a project that works on creative, original songwriting, blending genres of Americana, blues, rock, jazz, progressive, and anything else interesting for good measure. The chemistry of the rhythm section is the holy grail for me. I love working with musicians who can lock in a great groove, who care about their craft and their audience, and who crave the joy of writing/recording/performing their own music. My experience as a drummer/percussionist spans many styles, four+ decades, recording/touring, and several music-minded cities: Bozeman, MT; Boston, MA; Jackson, MS; Tokyo, Japan; and now Tucson, AZ. Artists included Cirocco Jones, e(X)nihilo, the Bow Downs, Laurel Isbister, Lazy Jane, the Tougaloo Jazz Ensemble, and Shady Dirt.
