The last serious project I was in (played bass and contributed to the writing process) got the attention of Grammy Award winning producer Matt Hyde (Jonny Lang, No Doubt, Slayer). We went into the studio (Sunset Lodge in Silverlake, CA) with him and did a 5 song EP. That EP got into the hands of Chuck Johnson (former personal engineer to producer Ross Robinson (Korn, Slipknot, Deftones). We did 1 song with him. We recorded our first 9 song demo live (without the aid of a click track) featuring drumming Jazz-Fusion great Kofi Baker (son of Ginger Baker of Cream and Blind Faith), in which I was a student of and learned various polyrythms and time signatures in Orange, CA. I have shared the stage with Kofi at the now defunct House of Blues Sunset Strip when he played our celebration show after the recording of our demo, have shared the stage with Jonah David- former drummer of Matisyahu at the now defunct Key Club on Sunset Blvd. and also played the Tribute to Jeff Buckley show at the Key Club hosted by Jack Osbourne in November of 2007.

For this project looking for more of a punk/electronic/garage vibe than the previous project I was in, which was more progressive/alt. The songs on my page are an example of the direction I want to go into. Eventually when this is all set up I want to go on tour from Austin to California and up the West Coast to Seattle.
