Bass Guitar, Keyboard, Vocalist - Alto.

Looking for like minded musicians, without huge egos, to do what we love to do, make music! Plain and simple... For me it's all about the personalities and fun that there is to be had entertaining. I grew up playing in the Phoenix area starting back in high school. My college years I was drummer for several local bands playing venues in and around Phoenix, Mesa, Tempe, ASU. Currently I'm with a seven piece 60's band aspiring to keep the music true to the "Summer of Love"!

For most of the last 30 years, I lived in the San Francisco Bay Area. While there I worked in several bands covering blues, classic rock, and current pop tunes.

I, along with long time friend and fellow musician (guitarist) are looking to put something new together. Just what that musical style and makeup will consist of most certainly is going to be determined by how our musical abilities mesh and where our/your interests lie. If interested then hit me up. We are available to rehearse just about any time and open to frequency of gigs.

My ideal line-up would consist of: Experienced musicians, both guys/gals, bass and lead guitar, keys, with 100% VOX participation. I'm located in North Scottsdale/Cave Creek area.

Bands/drummers that have influenced my abilities through out the years, are: Ringo, of the Beatles, he's still kickin' it today. Charlie Watts, John Paul Densmore, The Doors, Mitch Mitchell with Jimi Hendrix. Early on I aspired to the likes of, Chicago's, Danny Seraphinere, BS&T's Bobby Colomby, John, now Jason Bonham, and Tower of Powers' great David Garibaldi.
More recent , influences are: RHCP' Chad Smith, Paul McCartney's drummer "Abe" Laboriel, Jr and Kenny Aronoff... bringing us full circle back to tasteful classic redefined Beatles.

Many in the Blues genre from Freddie King, BB King, Buddy Guy, John Lee Hooker, Muddy Waters, Robben Ford, John Mayer, Savoy Brown..

California Dreamin' - The Violet Revolution Band April 2018:

Carol Kings’ “It Too Late”-The Violet Revolution November 2018:

Sound selections are from my Mourning Light CD. ML band played to a greatly varied demographic, demanding many genres. The first selection is an original, and the second was our take on an oldie. The mix was over produced cutting out much of the dynamics as originally intended. Bad engineering! You'll notice that especially for the drums and bass, but hopefully they will prove to be entertaining.
