ABOUT

--- Melodic, Relatively Restrained Bass Player Looking For Role In Church ---

I have been playing bass off and on since 1970. I am primarily a pianist and have been playing that professionally since 1968. (So unfortunately I don't have bass-playing samples but I do have some references...) I have played church music for even longer than that, and also have been Music Director at a couple of churches. All this info is just to let you know that I know a little about music and playing...

So I'm seeking a place to play bass. I'm not into rock, blues, etc. on bass, not even jazz really, so this is a little uncommon. Church music (both traditional and contemporary) seem to fit my playing style best.

My current church already has a bass player, so I figure we're all supposed to be worshipping the same God so it ought to be OK for me to switch churches. :-)

I am located on the north peninsula, Daly City area...

EQUIPMENT

I'm not going to tell you what I got but it is probably good enough. I can go up to 3500 watts RMS, seriously, without distortion. That's because I have keyboard equipment. But I am definitely NOT looking to work at that volume, more like a 100 watt bass amp.
