ABOUT

I am a life-long songwriter who played piano and electric bass for many years. In 2015, my life changed forever when I picked up a banjo. I took to it, began writing music on it, and started playing in a folk-duet called Jamie and Jamie in West Virginia. I've written more music since falling in love with the banjo,than I did in my whole life. I learned bluegrass, and developed my own style, now I'm taking claw-hammer lessons with Neil at Elderly Instruments in Lansing, MI.
