ABOUT

Hi, my name is Lucas, and I'm a bass head. I've been learning my craft for 20+ years now (wow) and love making music. I just recently moved from Boston to Connecticut, and would love to find some musicians with common aspirations to jam with.

A little history de Lucas, I've been playing since I was 13. Had a friend who was in a band that was looking for a bassist, so I took hold of those reigns and never put it down. We were a cover/original band that played stuff like Nirvana, Bush, Pavement, 90's grunge. I was with that band for about 7 years. In that time I was in another band that played punk. Both band performed live a good number of times, maybe 50 total.

After these bands disbanded (hehe), I pretty much just jammed on my own for awhile. I'm pretty much self taught but have picked up somethings along the way. About 10 years ago I moved to Boston, and thats when music really started happening for me. I was living with a very talented friend of mine and we would often find ourselves in evening long jam sessions, just the two of us and with other musicians that were in the area.

After a little time we found a few guys we liked jamming with, so we formed a band. We were a fairly serious band, performed in a few clubs around Boston including the House of Blues (that was epic). We also recorded an album that is available on .

I really just love playing music, and performing it with people who love it as well. I'm up to play any style of music, maybe not death metal. As long as you're okay with jamming on it and giving everyone their freedom to explore, we're cool.
