Little Bio
As of right now Luckeynite is a Hip-Hop group from Toledo, OH. We consists of two members right now, Brad and Paddy, who are both vocalist. We have sparked up a little bit of a reputation around the Toledo area and have strong ties with the top promoters in the area (Verso group and Taking on Explosives). We perform a lot of shows at various venues such as Headliners, Club Sin, Club Rain, The UnderGround, Howard’s (BG), and more. We have also performed with National acts such as Proof (from Eminem’s group D12), Paradime (Kid Rock’s DJ), Zion I, MC Habitat, and Waking Ashland.
What We Want to Do
Right now we sing over beats that we have purchased from an up and coming producer from Detroit, but we want to get away from using beats and form a band. What we basically want to do is mix punk/pop/indie rock to Hip-Hop (example: The Roots and Gym Class Heroes…Both great hip-hop bands). We need a bassist, guitar, drums, and maybe a vocalist who can sing “punk like” lyrics for the hook.
