Interested in joining/starting a band around Plano. Really I’m most interested in doing covers of some of my favorite stuff, but I’m open to anything. For the most part I’m a self-taught bassist/vocalist. I started playing bass guitar a few years ago, and it’s by far my best instrument at this point. I can sing pretty well, I think I could handle being a lead singer but it’s something I’m more unsure about. I definitely can at least do background vocals.
I have experience with drums and I could definitely be a competent drummer if I had some time to get back into it, but I don’t currently have my own kit. As for keyboard, I’ve been messing around with piano for years, but my experience with real playing is quite limited. I can learn and play stuff but I basically have zero actual technique. I have a couple guitars and I’m learning to play them but I’m definitely a beginner on that.
