My name is Luke and I am with this band "Step In Clouds". We are a local 4-piece rock band from St. Paul and our current bass player and drummer are leaving the band due to school pressure. So we are looking for a talented replacements. In addition, we are also searching for a kick-ass keyboard player to enhance our sound. We have been gigging around the cities, and we have a recording session booked for January. You can check out our music at:

Band bio:
Found in 2011, Step in Clouds is about as thoroughly post-modern as bands come. Formed through the magic of Craigslist, it is comprised of members hailing from China, Britain and America. While each brings their own influences spanning genres from acoustic singer/songwriter through heavy metal, the sound they create is all their own. Breathtaking melodicism and deft musicianship combine to create a unique listening experience characteristic of the bands meditative rock sound.
We practice 3 times weekly and are motivated to play at least 2 gigs a month. All music are written collectively as a band. So we need you to be both creative and skilled. All band decisions are made collectively based on votes. We have no leader of the band, no dramas, and no big egos. Professionalism and drama-free-ness (if that is a word) are required. Our goal is of course to go pro. So we need at least 1 year commitment.

Vision of the band:
I love working with musicians from various backgrounds to integrate a team of talents into music. The interaction itself is exciting and fulfilling. However, what I am looking for is more than a group of talented people playing music just for fun. I want to create some original, unique, and exhilarating sounds that create history. I want the music that we create to be friendly to general public, but also reflects emotional and intellectual experiences. While musical knowledge and techniques are important, I believe the more important qualities of a successful band are creativity, passion to strive for perfection, and dedication and commitment to work as a team. After being in three bands in the past several years, I think a shared vision and level of commitment are crucial among members.
