Playing rock, jazz, pop, and R&B, I specialize in playing the harmonica, saxophone and lead vocals. Music and improvisation has been my natural talent and passion since the age of 14. My experience has expanded over 40 years, playing in bands, or working as a session musician. I have performed with the likes of Johnny Heartsman (I was his apprentice), Lee Oscar of War, Buddy Guy, Dizzy Gillespie, Leo Boots, Waylon Black, Johnny Guitar Knox, the Soul Shakers and the Blues Review. Notable venues have included the Torch Club and the Sacramento Musical Festival in Sacramento California. Southern California venues include Proud Mary's, Johnny Mananas, the Kraken and numerous small breweries. In addition to the harmonica, I also act and play various forms of percussion, and penny whistle.
