I’m a classically trained (2+ years of college level music training) multi-instrumentalist (bass, acoustic guitar, rhythm guitar, background vocals, etc.) who lives in Midland, looking for a group or individual (female vocalist preferred) to join/collaborate with, with the intent of performing (ideally) at paying gigs. My availability (for the moment) is wide open, and I can devote as much or as little time as is required to the right person/project. I’ve been looking to get back into music performance after a 5 year hiatus. 25 years of music experience. I also am a semi-professional audio engineer/electronic music producer (with 1 artist release, 1 remix release, and 1 compilation release, all original music. Snarky Puppy (and all artists on the GroundUp Music label), Cory Henry, Shawn Martin, Jacob Collier, KNOWER, (most jazz and gospel in general, mainly modern jazz/r&b/hip hop, funk, and fusion), good music in general (yes I know that’s a subjective definition, but music of all genres have influcenced me in general.)
