I am a full time educator but in the last 3 years I have been dedicated to finding different venues/genres of music to participate in. I have sung in a duo in places all over the Charlotte, SC region.
I would like to be part of a band and see what my voice could contribute to the entertainment of others who also share a love of music.

Influences

I grew up with a Dad who used to clog with the Grand Ole Opry. So country and bluegrass were a big part of my upbringing. When I got my first transistor radio, Motown, Folk, Rock, scores from musicals, contemporary Christian,singer/storytellers like Harry Chapin, Joni Mitchell, Gordon Lightfoot, John Denver,Carole King, Stevie Wonder.Stevens, Aretha Franklin, B52's, fun upbeat songs, 70's rock, Sam Cooke-Ray Charles-Al Green-The Cure-Bonnie Raitt-James Taylor-Adele-Gladys Knight-Tina Turner-some country, some showtunes ... very eclectic tastes in music with the desire to branch out and explore
