Singer & composer/arranger looking to make connections in the Geneseo area :)
I am primarily a rock/blues belter & jazz vocalist but i love exploring other genres- most recently folk and indie rock! I'm most comfortable in an alto range but can reach from a B2 to around an F6, so i'm pretty versatile!
I have been singing for most of my life- my background is in vocal jazz and musical theatre so I have been in tons of stage productions, concerts, and vocal groups growing up & I am moderately familiar with music theory. I have also done a few gigs in and around Syracuse (my hometown) which I've really enjoyed!
I am currently involved in a couple musical groups around geneseo, most notably my acapella group, whom I have been singing and arranging for since 2021.
I am a violinist of 12 years as well and would be willing to provide that if needed. I've also been picking up a few instruments for fun recently (harmonica, guitar, piano) and hope to develop some more experience with those & eventually become confident enough to perform with them!
(it's also probably important to include that I don't have reliable transportation so i am pretty exclusively looking for connections in geneseo until further notice)

jefferson airplane, the kinks, the beatles, otis redding, jackie shane, carole king, bob dylan, boygenius, billy joel, tiny habits, freddie mercury, madison cunningham, zeppelin. Primarily early jazz, funk, & prog rock- i've also been really into the music of the Zambian rock revolution of the 70's (Ngozi Family, Amanaz, Peace, Witch, etc)
