I'm a garage band singer looking to find some local musicians to jam with and possibly to play small venues and clubs around the area. I perform a bit online at the moment, doing scheduled, weekly gigs, but I'd like to expand to performing live with a band. It would be great to find a fun, easy going, yet fairly serious about wanting to do something with music, group of musicians that thinks it would be great to play to a crowd now and then. You can go here to hear a variety of stuff I dabble in --- ./lyricserendipity

I have also managed a musician or two online, performing in virtual venues and helping get their CD's sold. I'm in touch with a great community of online, indie artists and know a little bit about how to get yourself out there on the internet. It's a great source of networking with local music lovers, as well as people around the world. So...I have that going for me too....

Instrument experience:

I have a mic, a very old acoustic guitar and a mixer. I'm not a sound tech at all, but I've managed to get my stuff - live and recorded - posted and broadcast online. I have an acoustic guitar, but I am not a musician. I can play some rhythm if coerced, but I haven't played much in recent years. I used to play keys by ear...and probably could again, if needed. My main desire currently is to stick with vocals though.
